What a storm huh? I remember that storm in 1977 too. We were living in Toledo, Ohio and had about 3 feet of snow on the first two days of the week. The Medical College of Ohio was closed for about 4 days. A surprise Holiday that we enjoyed. We had a storm about as bad as yours in 1998. It was a super cell tornadic system. Our home was plastered green by our big maple tree and we had 3 or 4 inches of hail on our deck. Our Ford Taurus, beautiful metal flecked red had $5,000 in hail damage. Our home needed to have the roof replaced. Thankfully it was all covered. Enjoyed your comments on social networking. Like you, we’ve found support and encouragement in my illnesses as well as hope and optimism. I’ve developed a good following on Carepages.com as FrankLivingFully and Youtube has been a success too. Like you have said, friends from all over the country, Canada, and around the world too. People that I would never have met except for this. Facebook too has grown to be another support network. (I stay away from games and most quizes because I’d much rather write and share.) It all keeps my life intact because their is community and a sense of caring and friendship. I think it is remarkable that my online friends are just as close in thought as my in-person friends. I hope we’re able to meet many of them. Please keep up with your writing and sharing about life. I’ve found most everybody online is engaging, often humorous, and caring along with what we both love: optimism. I am sharing too via Google with a profile and through the Reader. You can look me up as BigBirdFrank. Hoping that we can share about the New Media and get to know each other and become friends. Bye Now…..
